Labyrinth - The Alternate Cut

In honour of David Bowie's 65th birthday, I thought I'd celebrate the occasion with a pair of captions telling the story of the original, alternate cut of his epic masterpiece, Labyrinth. Okay, so maybe Jim Henson was never quite that twisted, but it' how I always dreamt the movie should work. Over the years I've thought about rewriting the story as a piece of fan fiction, but it just doesn't work without the soundtrack.
